Not give thanks for all circumstances, but in them. Or as The Message translation puts it: Thank God no matter what happens.
I will post more in a few days; I have had a lot happen at the cellular level, lots to chew on, and frankly I don't want to go off pontificating until I have a better handle on my internal self.
